2012 — Founded
Independent restaurant and diner operators in the Brandywine Valley form the association and launch the first negotiated distribution program on September 1, 2012.
2013–2016 — Meetings, food shows and growth
Monthly and bi-monthly member meetings, VIP food shows and vendor presentations build the network across Delaware County, greater Philadelphia and into New Jersey.
2015 onward — Hermes Expo
BVRA partners with Hermes Expo to bring vendors and manufacturers face to face with hospitality operators in Philadelphia and New York.
Today — A buying network and introduction platform
The Buyer Network, the Approved Vendor marketplace and BVRA-arranged introductions put the founding idea — united, independents are powerful — online.
